We're looking for progressive leaders to host a YouthTrain on their campus or in their city. In order to host a YouthTrain, you need to be able to do the following things including signing up below, finding a space, spreading the word, downloading all the materials, and then hosting the training on March 28th.

If you can do all that, then you can host your own YouthTrain and we can do the rest. We'll also be arranging conference calls with all the hosts prior to March 28th, so we can answer all your questions and talk you through the actual night itself!

If you agree to the above terms and have the ability to do then, then fill out the form below to sign up to host a YouthTrain. We'll send you a follow-up email with all the details you need to find a location and get ready for your training.

I have (or can get access to) the things I need to host this YouthTrain. *

What you need to do to host a YouthTrain:

First and foremost, by signing up to be a host, you are agreeing to find a space in your community or campus to host one of the trainings. Your training will be publicized on our website, and we will limit the number of participants that sign up in accordance with the maximum attendance you indicated. The reservation systems work on a first come, first serve basis. You will get an email notification every time someone signs up for your YouthTrain that will include their name, address, and contact information. You are welcome and even encouraged to contact them prior to the YouthTrain!

Your YouthTrain will be publicized on our website, but you should also invite as many of your own friends, family, classmates, and acquaintances as you like; however, they need to register through the website.

Before March 28th, you will need to:

  • Confirm the space you've reserved for your YouthTrain
  • Spread the word to young leaders in your community to come to the YouthTrain
  • Do all the preparation for the night itself (including downloading the training movie, setting up a way for everyone to watch the movie and the live webcast, and printing out the materials).

During the course of the training, your responsibility will be to:

  • Have your guests fill out an attendance sheet
  • Distribute the guest packets for your attendees
  • Play the training movie
  • Join the live webcast or dial-in to the conference call to listen to the expert panel
  • Help facilitate the interactive portion of the evening in your party
  • Fill out a post-training evaluation
  • Help ensure that your participants get the most out of the experience

I agree to the hosting ground rules for this YouthTrain. *

Note: After you submit your information, you'll receive an automatic email confirming your registration. If you don't receive this email, please check your spam filter. If you haven't received any confirmation after 3 hours, please contact us directly at youthtrain at progressleaders dot org.
